The Local Authority and Governing Bodies of both Eastfield Infant and Nursery School and Westfield Junior School are considering an amalgamation of schools into a new primary school to be opened from September 2020, within the same grounds of both schools and based on a brand new school building.

The consultation period runs from the 19th April 2018 to 18th May 2018.

In addition, you are invited to attend a public meeting on May 2nd at Westfield Junior School where you can hear more about why we see amalgamation as the best way forward for the schools and how we see this developing for the benefit of both the children we serve and the wider community.

It would be helpful if you could give notice in writing to either school of any question that you wish to raise at the meeting. This will enable the LA and Governors to ensure that a full response can be given at the meeting. This request will not preclude anyone raising any questions at the meeting that have not been previously notified.
